Education Abroad Holds Third Annual Photo Contest
PULLMAN, Wash.—The Washington State University Education Abroad Office announced the winners of the third annual Education Abroad Photo Contest. Over 50 entries were submitted by students who studied abroad during 2008-2009 academic year. Contestants included titles and descriptions of each of their photos from around the world.
Education Abroad Advisor, Miranda Roberts, explained, “The photo contest provides returned participants a great opportunity reflect on the impact of their experience and an opportunity to share it visually with the WSU community.”

Common Reading Expands to Year-Long Menu of Events
PULLMAN, Wash.—The Common Reading program at Washington State University will feature special events that, for the first time, will occur during both fall and spring semesters. “Food for Thought” is the theme of the 2009-10 Common Reading program. The book, “Omnivore’s Dilemma,” is already in the hands of 3,500 freshmen and faculty and at least 90 fall course instructors have plans to incorporate the book. more> |
