WSU Spokane Adds Director of Regional and Campus Development

SPOKANE, Wash; - Washington State University Spokane is expanding its advancement team with the addition of a director of campus and regional development. Brady Crook, who most recently served as executive director of the Spokane Hoopfest Association, comes to WSU Spokane with fifteen years of fundraising experience at WSU, University of Nevada, and University of Oregon.

“Brady will play a key leadership role for the campus and university,” said WSU Spokane Chancellor Brian Pitcher. “We’re fortunate to have his extensive knowledge of WSU and the Spokane community.”

The WSU Foundation team in Spokane currently includes representatives for the Office of Equity and Diversity, athletics, and the colleges of pharmacy, nursing, and sciences. “Brady is a great addition to our Campus and Regional fundraising team. His combined knowledge of both community and higher education fundraising will be a great asset to the foundation,” said WSU Foundation Vice President Patrick Kramer.

“I am very excited to be re-joining the WSU family in this capacity. The research at WSU Spokane and the impact it is having on the region are phenomenal, and to be a part of making the public aware of this is an honor,” Crook said. “My family and I look forward to giving back to the university that has been such a large part of our lives.”

Crook holds a bachelor’s in sports management from WSU and is active in various community organizations and youth sports. While working toward his degree, he lettered in baseball and was named to the Pac-10 First Team All-Academic team his senior year. He is married to the former Melissa Ledford and has three daughters, Sierra, Kylee and Courtney.
